Funding

The Group finances itself from own resources through annual membership fees and additional donations. In order to guarantee a minimum financial base for the medium term the "Foundation Tönissteiner Kreis" was set up in 2005. Its capital base is presently being built.

To implement its project work the Group depends on third party funding. The Group is supported by its sponsors, private business (such as Stifterverband für die Deutsche Wissenschaft, BDI, DIHK) and the public sector (such as the German Foreign Office, DAAD, GIZ ).
