Supporters
The Group finances itself from own resources through annual mambership dues and additional donations. In order to guarantee a minimum financial base for the medium term the "Foundation Tönissteiner Kreis" was set up in 2005 and its capital base is presently being built.
To implement its project work the Group depends on third party funding. Major funders include the Robert Bosch Foundation and the Stifterverband für die Deutsche Wissenschaft . In addition the Group is supported by its sponsors, private business and the public sector (such as the German Foreign Office , DAAD , GIZ ).
